The Fast-Paced. Saiki is a psychic who just wants to be left alone, but he is surrounded by idiots. The dialogue is incredibly fast. You will need to read subtitles at 2x speed.

3. Grand Blue Dreaming

The College Life. Ideally about diving. Actually about drinking, stripping, and bad decisions. If you’ve ever been a college student, this will hit close to home.

4. Nichijou (My Ordinary Life)

The Absurd. A deer wrestling match? A girl whose hair ties shoot rockets? Kyoto Animation spent their entire budget animating the most ridiculous jokes possible.

5. KonoSuba

The Isekai Parody. (We mentioned this in the Isekai list, but it belongs here too). The chemistry between the four main idiots is unmatched.

The Social Anxiety. Bocchi turns into glitch art when she gets nervous. It’s a hilarious and visually creative look at introverts trying to be in a band.

The Bro Humor. Just guys being dudes. They roleplay RPGs with sticks, steal their sisters' skirts, and talk nonsense. Very dry, very funny.

8. Asobi Asobase

The Deception. It looks like a cute show about girls playing games. It is actually a screaming contest of horrific faces and dark humor.

9. Spy x Family

The Wholesome. Anya’s facial expressions alone are worth the watch. The misunderstanding-based humor works perfectly.

10. Great Teacher Onizuka (GTO)

The Classic. An ex-biker gang leader becomes a teacher. He solves problems by suplexing the Vice Principal. Old school, but gold.
